Matthew is best remembered by fans as the original voice of Meowth in Pokémon, bringing one of the franchise’s most iconic characters to life. He was also the one and only voice of Slowking in Pokémon: The Movie 2000 and created several other memorable voices throughout the series.
Anime fans will also recognize Matthew from major roles in Slayers Next and The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, among many others.
Beyond voice acting, Matthew has had an impressive on-screen career with appearances in the film Kate & Leopold alongside Hugh Jackman, the Academy Award–winning film Pollock starring Ed Harris, and television hits including The Sopranos, Law & Order, and Sex and the City.
On stage, Matthew performed in the legendary original Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Angels in America, as well as the smash off-Broadway hit Shopping and F***ing alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman and Justin Theroux.
